Standards for Fiber Optic Receptacles Due to the lack of an industry standard, manufactures of Fiber Optic Transceivers have chosen their own proprietary designs to align and connect the transmitter and receiver devices to the fiber-optic connector. While SJC continues to manufacturer custom specified products in large quantities for the leading manufacturers of fiber-optic transceivers, SJC also produces two new standard LC Receptacles known as HP-750 and HP-900; these Receptacles provide an economical reliable solution for new designs or design verifications.
