Our preferred materials are:

Zirconia (ZrO₂)

Aluminia(Al₂O₃) also called Aluminium Oxide

Ceramics raw material, pre-mixed with the appropriate binder and / or additives can be extruded or mould pressed to a wide variety of shapes and dimensions.

Ceramic materials shrink during the sintering process. This must be considered by the toolmaker. 
Our engineers have may years of experience to predict and calculate the exact shrinkage rate such that the finished parts are exactly to the desired dimensions.

In the green state, i.e. before the parts are sintered, they can be easily machined with traditional machine tools.
